Joseph Kromka, MD
Dr. Kromka joined Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates in September 2024. Dr. Kromka specializes in hip and knee replacement, including direct anterior hip replacement, robotics, and revision surgery for failed hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Kromka, a native of Monroeville, PA, is dedicated to the care of patients in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in mechanical and biomedical engineering and University Honors. After spending a few years working as an engineer in industry, he attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and went on to complete his orthopedic residency at UPMC. He then completed his subspeciality training through a fellowship in Joint Preservation, Resurfacing and Replacement at Washington University in St Louis.
Dr. Kromka is a member of American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has a research interest in the hip and knee and has published his research in medical journals.
Outside of the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
